Electronic Farmer Access to the Central Register of Farm Animals

• Farmer access to the CRHZ database allows users to easily search for required information relating to their farms and animals. It also provides basic information about other farms and animals.
• It allows the sending of pre-prepared change reports and movement documents to the CRHZ (xml format).
• It provides an overview of reports submitted by the user electronically or by post and their processing status.
• It offers the possibility of confirming electronically submitted movement documents by the other party.
• It increases security with additional authentication using a GRID card – when sending, deleting and confirming reports and movement documents submitted electronically through this application.
• It also offers an overview of the codelists needed for the breeder’s work and animal registration in the CRHZ.

How to obtain a username and password?

• download the application for farmer access to the CRHZ database
• mandatory details in the application:

– your first and last name
– exact postal address
– contact details (e.g. phone, e-mail)
– numbers of your farms to which you require access
– Company ID (or birth number for natural persons)

• send the application for farmer access to the CRHZ database to the address:
